הרכבת של Pelion – טיולי יום ב-Pelion

טיול יום שמציע נסיעה ברכבת המפורסמת של Pelion, שנבנתה ב-1895. במסלול נגלה פרטים על אחת ממסילות הברזל הכי מיוחדות בעולם (מסילה צרה ברוחב 60 ס"מ).

המסילה, מעשה ידיו של Evaristo de Chirico – אביו של הצייר המפורסם Giorgio de Chirico – ידועה באסתטיקה הגבוהה ובהרמוניה האדריכלית שלה, שחלק ממנה הם הגשרים שחוצים בדרך.

יוצאים באוטובוס מ-Volos או מ-Agios Ioannis אל Ano Lechonia. עולים על הרכבת ונהנים משעה וחצי של הרפתקה עם ה-"Moutzouris" המפורסם – ביוונית "המפויח", בגלל הפחם שהיה פעם הדלק שלו.

כשמגיעים לתחנה של Milies, הולכים בשביל אל מרכז הכפר, עם הכיכר המפורסמת והכנסייה המעוטרת בגילופי עץ מרהיבים. אפשר להמשיך באוטובוס ל-Vizitsa, לארוחת צהריים מסורתית ולביקור באטרקציות של הכפרים.

חוזרים מוקדם אחר הצהריים.
