 Perhaps the most fascinating hiking route in the east Pelion area. 

Following the central cobbled path that for centuries connected the villages of Eastern Pelion with the Pagasitic Gulf and having as a starting point the square of Agia Paraskevi in Tsagarada, we will cross part of the village, making a small acquaintance with its history. After about 45′ of enjoyable hiking, we will leave behind Agia Kyriaki square and the location of Gibrouki and we will take a stop at Vigla to enjoy Damouhari gorge and the view of the lace coastline of NE Pelion, with the villages dominating its wooded slopes. 

Then we will enter the legendary Kagiolia a gobbled steep path to reach Rodies, from which we have an excellent panoramic view of Damouhari.

After a short stop, following the coastal path heading south, we will meet the impressive Hidden School, an ”eagle nest” on the vertical cliffs near the beach of Fakistra, with the magnificent seaside cradle at its roots (seal shelter during the winter months). 

The route will be completed by returning to Fakistra’s parking.

What's Included?

  • All routes are configurable and customized according to the requirements and wishes of the visitors. Coffee - sweet - tsipouro can also be scheduled at or last, depending on the possibilities of the trip.
  • Hiking takes you through a guided tour (Greek - English) with the history, tradition and the natural environment of the area.
  • Batons (walking sticks), water bottle cases and headlamps are provided at scheduled night hikes for use by those who want it.
  • Also available is Salewa Koala back seat- for children 2-6 years old (up to 20 kg).
  • Prices include 24% VAT

  •  A group of more than 8 people need an extra guide. 
  • Participation in hikes takes place with the sole responsibility of the participants and in the case of minors strictly with the adult accompaniment
  • Any movements of participants are made on their own vehicles.
